Seeing that these guys (VIS) are very slowy/shadey. I say we try to organize a plan to have both of these group buys go smoothly.

The skirt guys - Have fitment problems
The hatch guys - Well, We dont have anything yet.

What I'm thinking is maybe we can all come together, refuse final payment until both products are exaclty how we want them. Or, maybe try to get a step up in the consumer relations over at VIS.

I'm very tired of shadey, lazy, unprofessional people. I want what all of you guys want, what we paid for.

Keep in mind I dont want to be the leader of this battle, Just want to get some discussion going about how to fix this problem.

What do you guys think

I understand the problem, and this does piss me offf, being in the g/b for the skirts and it taking freaking 4 months.. Thats BS.. Although neaither has my lip been shipped eaither. rolleyes.gif . Id love to hold out with you, but when my skirts are ready im gunna pay. Unless i find another or better deal tonight then il just hold out.

Somtimes theres nothing you can do. Cause we refuse to pay or buy, some one else will give them money.

Will you be happy with the half a$$ed job side skirt ?
You'll be content with paying 200 shipped for warped fiberglass ?

These guys suck, and we need to do something about this.

Sure you will. Def is trying to have a serious discussion here.

I am not sure what we can do Def. If we held out, what would they do? Just keep your deposit and sell to the next guy to come along. I doubt it would have an impact. For me, the issue turns on fitment. If they can correct it, I will live with the wait. If they can't, then they will give me a refund or face a lawsuit.

i know your trying to do the right thing for your motor, but this is one of those times where you should just trust the guys who have had their swaps for a while and have done a ton of research into this.

J, I hear ya man. I'm more pissed at the way these people conduct business. I'm just trying to find a way to help the skirt guys as well as the hatches.

I'm really asking for some ideas as how we can better our current situation.

But if you think about it, where are they gonna find 30 people that are ready to pay ? I think they would have some sort of consideration towards a protest or a boycott maybe ?

Who knows what I'm asking. I just hope you guys dont settle for what they give you. Make them do it the right way. I dont want to see these pooly made skirts slapped all over ebay.

IF there poorly made There going right back. But the problem about refusing to pay or any of that nonsence is thats only going to take more time.. And we have waited long enough. My guess is its not worth it. Like if we dont pay, they'll sell them on e-bay or somthing and still make there money. Also with the fact about the fitting, thats to make sure there good which i like. I know my brother has some that wernt fitted and there pretty crapy.

One easy thing we can do is demand to see pictures of perfect fitment before we pay the balance. Thats easy enough. As for the timing, I think we are pretty much stuck and will have to rely on their integrity.

dig - Check the website "All products sold as is"
No hope for returning them.
J - which ever member of 6gc thats doing the test fit. Have them test fit several skirts. These guys seem to be the type to modify the test pair and ship out the rest untouched. With pics of course.

Plus they need better customer service.

1). Went to VIS to drop off 200$ for the hatch. All they need to do is take the freakin money and give me a freakin recept. That alone took an hour.

2). Went to VIS yesterday to test fit the skirts. All they need to do is ask someone to take the freakin skirt and smack that sh!t on my car... That alone, never freakin' happened. I waited 2 hours.

3). Went again today to fit the damn thing. Well.... It was faster today cuz I told him straight out I only have an hour for him.

Talked to some of those sitting there looking at ceiling with me (Cuz we were just so fcukin bored we just need to talk), most of them are from body shops and etc. And they all told me VIS takes forever to get a simple job done. Like, to print a freakin' invoice... takes'em a freakin' hour to do so...

argh..

What techniques do you use to make it fit? How about a little how-to?

Best thing to use is a heat gun, then move it to how it should be. maybe a lil shaving and such but i hope not.

I think that VIS doesnt take us seriously and thats part of the reason it takes so long. They see us as a bunch of individuals scattered throughout the country with now voice. I think if every one of us sent them an email or called them up... that would be 45 people all showing their unhappiness for the company... I think by doing that we will at least let them know that we arnt gonna allow them to walk all over us like they are... right now they dont even really care because they think they have all the power in the matter.
