QUOTE

I am bouncing off the rev limiter from too much power.  All I am doing is spinning my tires.  I am leaving the 6th gen for a 5th gen is what I meant.

And yes I am going to the Alltrac for traction.

First off, let me say that those are probably the most badass videos I have EVER seen.

Second of all, what do you mean you're leaving the 6th gen for a 5th gen? In one of your earlier posts you said it was a 94, which is still 6th gen. Or is the 94 the one your getting rid of for a 5th gen? I'm confused...

yea, he's ditching his 94 that is in the videos to get an all-trac so he doesn't spin as much

rwd really dosnt help the problem by that much. you would still need the right tires and lsd.

awd really is the way to go when making all that power.

I still say solid rocket power is the way to go. No wheelspin to worry about. Now going airborn..... smile.gif

it seems u have the money and know how to do a motor that nice. do an AWD conversion tongue.gif (anything is possible with gobs of money) then u can have the 6th gens good looks and the uhh 5ths gens not... srry just not a fan.
or do get wide tires and semi slicks with lsd.

even with that much power u can shift befor redline? right? i was scared for you lol.

yeah, but for awd you would need a very complex diff, more than one as well

i suppose it's jsut a metter of preferance, i agree that a rwd car with that kind power would need a good lsd with some nice fat rear rubber, but an awd would be that much more complex, besides, i've never personally likes awd too much, too understeery frown.gif

but hey i'm sure half the ppl on this site would disagree, it's all about pref.. smile.gif

i build my own engines, i've done LOTS of R&D and designed the CJM stroker motor for him. and yes i am using the factory 5SFE crankshaft.

i have 2 more vids of the car from the outside one with the old setup and one with the new, they haven't been put online because i can't get the guy with the tape to host em or let me take the tape. i'll try to get them up within the year lol.
