Run a search here, or pretty much any Celica board, and read the last page or two of posts and you'll understand why ssautochrome dropped out of sight after trying to flog their headers. Exposed: customer service is pathetic (make fun of customers on Ebay), materials questionable (rust found on "stainless" steel), moronic manufacturing (stainless pipes, mild steel flanges), a tendency to crack because they're ridiculously thin, and six Better Business Bureau complaints in twelve months. As soon as the ssautochrome rep was asked about this, he disappeared. For the 5SFE, Hotshot has a header, Genie (Aus) has a header, the 3SGE manifold will work, and so will the manifold off a later 5SFE Camry (35 pounds less and slight design improvement), in declining order of cost. |
