the act is what us country folk use instead of a sat. its based on a 1-36 scale divided into english science math and critical reading. the military exam is the ASVAB....
*edit good job on the 24 though, just keep taking it as many times as you can.. take residuals @ whatever college you think you might want to attend the residual tests only change annually and you can take them every 6 weeks i think. the more you take it the better you will get. i went from a 25 to a 34 gl on your future tests This post has been edited by carb0n_f1b3r: Apr 19, 2005 - 4:20 PM -------------------- WAR HAS NEVER SOLVED ANYTHING...EXCEPT FOR THE ENDING OF COMMUNISM, FASCISM, NAZISM, AND SLAVERY.

That's a very good score, but definitely keep taking it. I got a 29 on my first and only try my junior year and barely missed a bunch of good scholarships. If you can get it up to around 30 with good grades you have a really good shot at going to school for free.

Assuming you have at least a 3.0, or you can ensure you'll have at least a 3.0 by the time you graduate, you'll qualify for HOPE Scholarship. Then you can go to any school in Ga, and in several other states that will match HOPE, and your entire Tuition, plus $150 a semester in book money, will be paid for. If any good ever came out of my dad's orders to go to NAS Atlanta, it was that I get to go to college for free. |

I got a 28. However, scored a perfect 36 in both math and science. Reading however is my downfall. Who needs poetry when you can calc.
