hey guys... i just got my flowmaster 50 in this weekend... it sounds really good and deep....

i felt a lil increase when accerating... and a lil more pull..

but all in all.. it sounds great!...

the guy i took it to cut of the the exaust tip of the flowmaster and then welded on a custom tip for me... he also got some high temp black paint and painted the flowmaster...

im happy... and i wouold recomened this.. its not as cosmetic as other mufflers... but im thinking it has a better performance boost than others too...

flomasters usually sound good on almost any application that i have seen/heard

they dont flow very well though, not that it doesnt flow enough for your car, but with my car, i have heard that the stock muffler outflows flowmaster 40's.

my N1 on the other hand, well, thats virtually a straight pipe.

Some mufflers have baffles in em (like flowmaster) that restricts exhaust flow but make it sound better. Then you have straight thro mufflers (i know my HKS is) where they sound a bit worse but flow better.

My .02 on having a straight thro: do it but run a resinator. You can get a dynomax resisnator w/ desired size
