For my 5sfte project ill be using a stock 3sgte tiwn entry set up. I plan on keeping the stock muffler hanging at the rear and terminating the 3in. pipe to a manganaflow race serise muffler under neith the car. I want this so it looks like i have a stock exhaust rather then a ricy SS muffler sticking out the back.
It should be a pretty short exhaust set up nothing over 3 or 4 ft. My question is when a 3sgte manifold, ct26, and stock DP are mounted on a 5sfe in a 6th gen where does the DP shoot out the exhaust and in what direction. Looking at the DP sittin in my room and pix online it look as tho the DP shoots the exhaust straight back near the center of the car were the stock 2nd cat and mufler are hung. I ask this because if it is a straight back path then i dont need bends and thus can take it to a shop that has really low prices/or do it myself as opposed to taking it to a shop that does manderl bends. Thanks a bunch in advance. I could jsut with for my manifold and trubo arive but i like planning as far ahead as possible. Pix are welcomed if have any. |

here what i would do. Have an exhaust routed and hung, but make sure u use flanges. Then when you wanna run striaght pipe, just get under it and pull out a pipe. You'll be loud as hell, but I'm guessing this is the solution your looking for.
