Hey, I was just curious if anyone knew of schools in the US that certified Toyota technicians. I've been looking at places like UTI and local technical schools, but all I can find is Ford certification. It's not that big of deal, but I thought it would be neat to study to be a Toyota master-tech. I decided college isn't my thing so cars is lol

toyota would have to train uto become to Toyota master tech. ... those schools all they do is teach u the basics... if u want.. read lots of books.. and replace parts on ur own car.. and friends car.. then take ur ASE test.. and build up ur tool box.... then go to a dealership and apply for a job... at first they will have u doing simple stuf like brakes and oil changes.. and as time goes on u will do more and more stuff.

I think I'm going to take the basic Auto-tech program at the community college here (Manhattan, Kansas) and get a job at the Honda/Toyota dealer here. I don't know where I could get into a T-TEN school or anything.

I've also thought about UTI, but I would have to take a year off school before I could move. Plus it's a lot more expensive lol.

Any other ideas? I don't know that much about this and it's hard to find info on it
