I just got my hood and was wondering do you guys have a gap on one side, between the fender and the hood that is larger than the other side? Or will this go away as it settles?

Also how many took the sheild that covers the vent up off? Will water going through there mess anything up?

it should depend on how you install the hood

I think I may need to adjust it more, any tips on getting it to line up right?

i have the sheild off. its only water. and for the gaps u need to re-adjust the two bolts that hold it done possibly or maybe even the fender itself sometimes.

you have 2 bolts on the bottom of the car that hold on the fender 3 bolts under the hood 1 in the door jam and 1 bolt inside the fender but you have to remove the plastic sheild around the wheels to get to it, then there are 2 more bolts under the outside light. i just took both my fenders off sunday im getting ready to put my z3 fenders on tomorrow along with my front end again i just got everything painted again. i drop the car off tomorrow too for air ride......woohoo!

That is what I have there is only one version that VIS makes.

Is it possible to adjust the hood latch? Because that is what is keeping it from moving over.

Yesterday, If I was you I would contact DHL and try and get your money back for shipping.

If I adjust the fenders they wont line up with the door, my fender looks like it is perfectly aligned. The latch is what is causing it to not align.

Yea you should be able to get your money back from them.

Yea I haven't had a chance to try and move the latch yet but that is what I was thinking was wrong. Because the front sticks up just a little bit.

I went to autozone and bought some "chrome" washers with the little retarded lights for like $10, fit perfect, no problems at all.
