i just rented this to see how well the graphics hold up on the xbox vs the pc version. i was kind of shocked. it basically looks just like the pc version and is really a lot of fun on a console. anyone that didnt play doom and has an xbox, go check it out!

I thought the PC version was more fluid, but it didn't make enough difference, it was the same way with Halo, plus you need to spend at least $800 on parts to get a PC to run it.

QUOTE(pr_caralho @ Apr 30, 2005 - 9:32 PM) half life 2 was better Agree. Doom3 was so repetitive. Evrything in the game was a small narrow hallway with enimies hiding in the shadows. Got boring after awhile. HL2 was much more diverse. -------------------- 95 Celica ST 95 Supra NA |

yeah hl2 is a good game, but i dont see any reason to compare the two. doom3 is fun because of the amazing graphics and scary setting. the midless action works really well on the console and its great to see such a powerfull graphics engine run so smooth on something like a 733mhz 64megs of ram xbox.
