WOOT!!!


In about 5 to 8 weeks I will have :

a new O2 sensor (factory BEAMS)
new high pressure fuel line (factory BEAMS)
BGB set (factory BEAMS) both wiring book and overhaul book.

The order was confirmed last night.

WOW it has been some time.. how long has it been??

Well id say sweet, but as i hear with any swap, everything else is the easy part, its the wiring that is the bitchc.. but good luck.

one tip when trying to work from the wiring book.... break each part of the cars starting system into sections and work on one thing at a time.

your first goal should be to try to get the starter working. that means, make sure that when you turn the key to the on position, stuff like your clutch switch works, etc. then when u get to the point where u can turn the key and kick the starter on, work on the fuel pump, then ignition, etc.

I did that from the start, as Chris can atest to. I have an aircraft electronics ticket and as such I do not like to guess on wiring.(due to training, ya guess and the plane can crash).the last system I need to do is the A/C plus half a dozen or so wires coming from the BEAMS ecu and going into the cars body harness plugs. I guess now I will have to take a crash course in Japanese...lol. I was told that the manuals were only printed for the Japanese market and that they would only be writen in Japanese. If the wiring book is anything like the ones I have now, that will not be a problem.

damn thats gonna be one sweet ride when its done... im still deciding on the swap, turboing the 5sfe, or just simple mods (intake exhaust, headers, etc)
