have any of you with a sound system and an underdrive pully had any problems of dimming or any other electrical problems? for those with an ST, did it make a noticable difference and where can i get one the cheapest?

I would imagine it would noticeably affect your audio system because if it affects headlights during idle, it will most likely do the same to audio systems...

I'd think that a good capacitor would fix the problem for the most part.

No, it wouldn't. Caps aren't a band aid; the only thing that would fix it would be a high output alternator.

My headlights dim at idle now. I've thought about the underdrive pulley, but it doesn't really cause that much of gain.

I have one.. but I havent noticed any difference with the cooling, steering, stereo, etc.. My stereo dims when the cars off and subs hit, but never noticed it with the car running...

I did have to adjust my belts a bit here recently, not sure if there was any relationship there or not.

You can usually get your alternators rewound if the casing is big enough (not sure about ours tho.) Looky here.
