How much do you know about the Camaro and Trans Am? I'm sriting a term paper over their comparissons. Any input would be appreciated. Thanks

camaro, trans am

they are damn near the same thing.

very slight weight difference favoring the TA, different wheels, body panels and interior

in the first generation they actually had different engines

the pontiac engines were wider

i think the TA was also the more expensive one

camaro had the RS, z28, and SS packages

the firebird had the firehawk, formula, and ws6 packages

there were some turbo trans ams, but no turbo camaros

What gen are you looking for, they range from the new with the LS1, to the old where the Trans Am had a 455 big block and 427 Camaro. You can also look up the Yenko Camaro and the Macho Trans Am, the Macho came with different size motors the fastest having 800Hp. The Trans Am being a Pontiac had more special editions than 20/20 ranging from the old turbo slant six to the Firehawk, GTA and WS6.
