ok well as the title says i wana paint some things in my interior. but i dont know what would look good paint and what woudlnt. i was thinking the trim all around the shift boot and all the way up around the cd player and stuff. the cup things behind the door handels. and then eather the vents them self OR the piece around the vents. also my friend has a little air brush set up for i guess model cars and stuff but he used it to do his interior and it came out ok. hes a no0b tho and didnt use a high gloss paint and didnt give it a clear coat so its not like car paint looking. i guess what im asking is do i HAVE to sand the pieces? if i want that smooth look with out the texture that it has will i have to get some cheap bondo and do that after and then sand it again? if so where can i get some bondo thats cheap. and not alot. and where can i get some cool paint and i guess clear coat to go over it with. also my car is black with black interior. so what do you guys think would be a good color to do it with?? i was thinking like a really dark metalic red. other then that i dont know. if any one has pics of interior painted post them or link it. as i really wananget started with it and he will buy MOST of the stuff i need and will do it for me or let me do it and help me as i installed his system so hes returning the favor. thanks chris

well with my interior being black. will i need to primer it first so the color shows? or no? i would think buying paint and shooting it in a air brush would be better then a can of spray paint from ricer usa. lol

it should be fine... if you go tot he place like i said you'll see a 3 stage treatment. 1st is primer 2nd is paint 3rd is clear or somethin else and umm, they have kameleon colors too, in that case you should be able to get away w/o painting them w/ primer since kameleon base in black -------------------- ![]() |
