Ok this is possible because when my father was looking into buying his vette he was checking out a few z06's that came stock with titanium built exhaust, but in the end he opted for a c5.

Now why would I want this? Because Titanium is light as hell, strong, and doesn't rust or corrode.

Only prob is I have checked everywhere in my area in Louisiana and nobody can get it, and noone is set up to weld it.

Where can I get titanium piping, and where is a place that can set up a full titanium piping exhaust system? I am seriously looking into this as soon as my rims, springs, and struts are in.

I think this is a bit impractical. Finding the pipes is hard enough, but finding a shop that can weld/bend them... too much hassel. Titanium is difficult to weld because it requires VERY high heat to be mallable...it actually gets stronger and stronger with more heat, until a certain point. I'm not sure if that's a factor, but like alluminum and such, I'm sure it requires a special mig/tig set-up to weld it. Just my 2 cents... not to mention it'll cost probably quite a bit.

yea the titanium exhaust is probably only the muffler. i have the veilside teardrop muffler and stainless steel piping. you can get it from veilside. that is the only thing that i can think of for you other than it will be a waste of money. If you are worrying about rust just spray the pipes. seriously man titanium will not do anything that stainless steel won't do as far as performance goes.

if I remember right you can mandrel bend titaniaum either so thats alot of cuts and welds - just go to the local exhaust shop and have them bend some pipe for you - you can get 7ft of steel for around 20 bucks - have them bend it and then get it powdercoated before mounting it - they have a really cool hi temp powder that looks just like stianless- you could do the whole project for around 200bucks and thats 3 inch for turbos and 2.5 for N/A's from the down pipe back
