Most of u know the drama that went down between my ex room mate but i cant stop wanting to be friends with her. In the past 3 years we never have gone this long without being friends. :-( It sucks! I miss her but yet when we are friends i get annoyed with her like no other.

I dont have many girl friends - Amy, Alyssa and her were really the only friends I had that were female. Now im down to Amy who lives far and Alyssa who is occupied with school.

/rant

ive tried messaging her twice on myspace

she just writes back "Thanks"

first time i wrote something like hey i know were not talking but i heard u got a new boyfriend. I hope he treats u better than shane ever did. also good luck with any future endevors."

THe next one i wrote today "Hey i know ur the queen of shopping and thought id let you know that an outlet mall is opening up in marysville. It has outlet Burberry, Gucci and Coach"

She wrote back thanks

then i wrote

"I guess no matter what i write you ur just gonna reply with thanks"

and she has not wrote back

Both comments can be construed as negative, especially the first. By commenting about her ex probably didnt make her feel great not to mention saying good luck and stuff isnt really reaching out. The second comment you call her the queen of shopping which I suppose some would like but it also can be seen as negative considering its the internet and she doesnt know tone.

If you want to talk to her why not be genuine? Instead of saying I kno we're not talking but this and that say something more along the lines of genuine interest in how she's doing and you can say Hey, I miss hanging out and talking with you. Also, I wouldnt post it on myspace either, thats seriously informal and everyone can read it, not the best way to break a silence.

Yes we agree, and move on. but never totally.. We will always have feelings for that person. I think above all else, if a friend changes and you dont remain friends then you should make sure they know you are always there for them if they need you. The only thing you can do besides that is pray bout it.. It's worked for me

If I could find a job up there you know I'd move closer in a second!!! biggrin.gif

I'm sure she misses your friendship too. She will get in contact w/ you when she feels ready. I think your emails sound fine, if my friend wrote that to me I would think *awww she cares!!*
