i can drive for a while depending on where I am at. But for long trips I prefer my Range Rover instead

I can drive long distance and be ok. Im very comfortable in my celica. Everytime I get in it feels like its hugging me.

I think the point of if you can fall asleep really depends on if you are tired or not. I think if you are tired enough, you can fall asleep anywhere. Ive driven ten hours straight and been fine, but have also begun to doze off on 1 hour trips.

When I sit in my celi I sit pretty far back, and I've got my left hand resting on my left leg, supporting the bottom of the steering wheel, with my right arm at the 2 o'clock position. This induces a bit of rotation and so I put a little bit more pressure on my right side. Feels comfortable at first, but not after a few hours biggrin.gif

i'm really comfortable whenever i'm driving.... the leather seats and the way the seat are designed to support your structure yet not too stiff.. i would've fall asleep if it's long drive and i have cruise on lol..

ive driven from charlotte nc to new york LOTS of times and never really fell asleep (well when i hit the jerzey turnpike its lights out) but then i think about my baby and how if i wreck it...im A$SED OUT! i may doze off but its VERY rare. those drives from work (30-40)minutes are tedious too.

after a long day of work, I have been known to get real sleepy behind the wheel for the hour drive home, however, since at my work soda and popcorn are free (all you can eat) I usualy take a soda and a bag to much on wile drving it seems to do the trick to keep me awake. plus its dubbles as my dinner so I can just jump into bed and sleep the day away till the night and my next shift.

i just have to say, while the bucket seats are nice, the back seats are like 90 degrees and hurt your back after like 2 minutes. at least in the convertibles.

Yup. You sleep in my car and you're deaf or dead. Possibly both.

I have never had a problem fallign asleep till this past fri, but that was working 9 hours then schooling 5 hours then partying and drinking.. rolleyes.gif

My bimmer I would also want to fall asleep with i was tierd, cause A: it road like flying in the air. B: Heated leather seats, C: no road noise.

My Celi is fine, rides hard enough and isnt to comfortable to pass out in.

It really depends. Sometimes I actually feel like the Celica seats are uncomfortable to some extent, like they just don't support quite enough. On long trips I dont really mind, I can get comfortable...but theres better cars out there to just cruise long distance in.

Now a nice set of seats in my opinion are the seats in the new RSX. wink.gif However I thought about just getting a nice set of aftermarket seats just today and that might be on my list of things to do this summer.
