you don't need it. sell it on ebay or somethin. our cars come adjustable from factory, just take it in for an alignment. now if you had coilovers then I would recommend factory camber bolts from toyota but thats not the case so you don't need them

you want to do an alignment yourself? I don't know of anyone on this board that does their own alignment so I have no idea how you would go about doing that

at goodyear, they said the 94' celica doesnt have the ports for doing an alignment, so its physically impossible.

My '95 ST does not have provision for camber/caster adjustment. Toyota does sell "crash bolts" that allow you some adjustment with them installed. Get some from a dealer if it turns out you need them.
FWIW, I did not have any camber or caster problems when I installed my Pro-Kit springs. I ended up aligning the car to make sure my toe settings were good. *Off-topic edit* DeW_H0e_GT; I see you're from Melbourne. I used to live out there a few years back... Need to get down there to see some people. This post has been edited by S_C_M: Apr 14, 2005 - 5:48 PM |

the point is you should be fine without camber bolts for a mild drop. get a 4-wheel alignment and call it good

So you're telling me that with my '95 ST dropped all the way down on Ground Controls, that I dont need a camber kit? I'm going through tires every summer because my camber is so bad....How do I adjust that then?

all the usdm celicas have the same basic suspension. camber is adjustable to a certain degree but too drastic a drop and you will need camber bolts. as a general rule of thumb I think anything beyond the normal lowering spring range will require camber bolts

ANYTIME YOU drop you NEED a 4 wheel alignment like 60$ not expensive......but even at the lowest drop you shouldn't need camber bolts...the factory should be fine.......honestly i have arospeed coils on 14" rims and 18" rims with a completely full drop ruffly 2.5-3" i pretty sure its really close to 3"
and i just went and had an aligment and with stock camber ect... i was fine on adjustments.....my car is just as low as punch's |
