Well, i finally have somthing to say about this GB.
It is a curse or somthing - but everything from the very begining till these days with the panels wasnt going right at all. At first - 3 molds there done - none of them was right. Even if we thought this is just a simple thing - it was wayy to complex and it is till now. Then the FIRST RIGHT mold was made, we got the product what was looking like this: This was just the prototipe form FG, and it fitted almost right, exept few little issues. After the FG prototipe the CF one was made, it was test fitted - and again as for prototipe it fitted practicly fine (practicly), but as for final product - fitting wasnt good. As you can see - one flap is in the air, this means panel isnt sitting right, it rubs in one place... Well - after this we desided to give it another try - and reworked the mold one more time - we made the curve on the panel a bit shorter.... And this as you will read later - was my biggest mistake...... We did tested the first prototipe on 3 different celicas, and all of them seemed to have the same fitting issue.... So this was my Go for another Mold rework... We reworked the mold, and the first prototipe from the new mold was kinda ok, and it seemed it will fit fine, and it did.... But it was made really thin, and i could easily bend it to fit it.... And cuz of all the rushing on AIM, and from other guys - i didnt tested the second prototipe on other celicas, and didnt waited for real product to test fit it. I made a HUGE mistake... Cuz i shipped 3 panels to Italian guys, from Italian forums.... and i had to recall them from curier service, cuz today, i was polishing and sanding the few panels that i had in my garage, and i desided to test fit them on Marchius car.... And..... this was my disapointment... Here are the pictures of 2 different panels fitted on Marcius car, pics are from today test fit.... These are just 2 prototipes fitted again., not the actual products.. 1 Prototipe fitted again. Now it fits perfectly, cuz the firt time then i test fitted i didnt aligned it well, and drilled holes in not the right places... this is why it doesnt fitted perfectly flush.. Now it does fits. Second prototipe - it fits , but it isnt flush at all... and the hood holder cant get in place then it is layed down, this is the main thing im mad about..... This pic shows the bend i was talking about - the panel on the right - is the one that was made first, and the one that fits perfect.... the one on the left - my mistake.... Few days back, i ran my MR2 to garage, and i didnt notice the box with panels on the ground... i drove on the box and from 7 percfect panels 3 left alive...4 panles i had to trash.. This was the another thing that i wasnt at all happy with.... I do had another 3 panels in my room, these wasnt clearcoated.. so still i had 6 panels...... but the wrong ones.. Basicly - the situation.... i had 6 panels ready (the wrong ones), have unusible mold, and i feel stupid, cuz of the rushing i did this stupid mistake..... Thanks God, i still have one RIGHT panel left, and we will reinforce it and make the mold (5 mold already.... ) from it, so im set back by alot i guess... Cuz i spent endles time working on the first prototime, and enouth of $ on the molds... But i will do my best, even if it will requer non stoping work to try to get them on time guys... This topic was made becose i want to be honest with all of you GB people, i dont want to lie about the delay, or somthing else... Its always better to know the truth and try to understand... I made a mistake, and im gonna try to fix it as fast as posible... So please, dont be mad, and dont try to curse me about the posible delay on them... I hope you guys understand all this. Thanks, Romas DCW. -------------------- Ex celica owner - just a guy from other side of the pond...

Excellent post Romas. I am not in this group buy. My only reason for posting is to point out that this is the type of thing a good businessman does when he runs into problems. He keeps his customers informed. He demonstrates empirically that he has been taking action to get things corrected. And, he apologizes for the inconvenience. Take notice VIS.

Yea thanks for keeping us informed. I would rather wait for a good product rather then get something now that doesn't fit right.
