Not to be a downer but I did 15.02 in my 1995 SS-II just removing the jack and spare wheel. Performance wise I had a Tom's panel filter and a decat with sports back box.
If I were you I would try racing with the back silencer on and a decent air filter. You are just leaning altering the mixture and removing back pressure from the exhaust two things which work aginst performance in an NA. Just my 2p & my first post on this forum. |

i went to the draggs raced for the first time. my best was a 14.9 also at 95mph. but man do i suck, well not really. a car shot oil all over the track so i spun through 3rd lol so yeah my 60 foot sucked hardcoooooore. my buddies 300hp se-r that ran 12.5 last year with only 250hp ran a 12.4 the track just sucked so bad. other than that i pulled on an sti toward the very end. my friend has video on his cam corder that runs on a tape but how do i get tape onto a computer? my friends who drag often said if my 60ft was better id easily see high 13's to very very low 14's
it was fun. but man u stripped that thing down!! i ran with my spare and everyhting else i didnt plan on going to race but my friends conveived me to. its a rush cant wait to do it again. -------------------- |

the car has 185,6 whp and 154,6 of torque, the drag race was in an old airport and not in a normal drag arena, the road sucs and i had allmost no tyres on my car, the tyres was a friends of mine and they where as dry as they could be! i've lost most of my time on 60 foot..... the next time i will go with slics and 118 octane racing fuel and a new program on the dyno and i will loose more weight! + i was realy apset about the category they put me to race! i was racing bmw m3, m5, 2 honda civics with 2,0 engine!!!!!! all of the cars in my category where BEASTS! one civic had 12,7 seconds!!!!!! how the hell i was going to race with a clear mind anyway? next time i will do much better, i know the pottencials of my car and i know that i can do atleast 14,3 next time!
