I have the JIC LAB... To tell the truth I don't think it does much of anything. All the stupid **** braces and such don't really accomplish much in the form of handling...They look okay...But all show and no go is gay. Anywho, if you already have one slap it on it can't hurt anything. Be sure to torque down the bolts real good. Then buy a set of sticky-icky Falken azenis sports and have a real blast.

Good advice. Most people don't drive hard enough or fast enough to even notice anything... yet they're willing to dish out the money for "looks"... then again, if you're getting it for free... why even care? -------------------- "It's ok to be naked girl... How fast should you be driving in order to notice a difference?

Daily driving doesn't mean taking turns at racing speeds. You have a celica with an econobox motor. I have one too. It is a beautiful car and nice to drive. But face it, it will never be anything special. You could dump all your hard earned money into it, and you'll just look like one of those dumb ricer boys in a civic. By all means I like the idea of tinkering with the car for fun. But keep it all within reason. The lil' celica will never be a Ferari killer. Save your money and buy an Evo or a used Supra, those have far more potential. Until that day comes... keep dreaming. |

Right for the fact that the 5s and 7a engines don't have much of anything, and you really have to put a lot of cash into them to make them powerful. And even then, they aren't as powerful as engines that were designed to go fast. Wrong for the fact the Celica is a waste and would be like a Civic. I'm not really happy with my car being so slow and all, but if I had the cash and desire to put a 3s or the neglected 4a into my car, it could be a real nice little race car. Suspension can be done to these things to make them handle great. Evo's are too expensive and unreliable, and Surpas are, well there's nothing really wrong with Supras. Celica is a better built car than a lot of them out there. Very underestimated on build quality. I have a 94, and it's great especailly for its year. It's not looked to highly on in the racing and tuner croud because it's not fast, it's not real easy to make it fast, and there's not enough out there so they don't make many parts for them. -------------------- Live Free, Be Happy

too fast for the street. how often does one understeer? My stance on this, people can do whatever floats their boat... just be realistic about the gains and the practicality. Having a decked out suspension set-up just to cruise to school and work is like having a full indy suspension SUV just to cruise solo in the carpool lane. -------------------- "It's ok to be naked girl...
