whats the point of doung a turbo st then? even with a turbo on there and open dp, youll get into the mid or high 15s, if you are lucky. an exahaust less the 2in is going to slow you down even more and wont give you the daily driving power that an st needs.
our cars are not awd track whores, like a dsm for example. all your mods performance/turbo mods and tuning should be done with street use in mind, since that is where 99% of your driving and racing is done. dont get me worng tho. i think your exhaust is just fine for the way your car is right now and for your current mods you are doing to make the car look better and better. so, good job bro! -------------------- 15PSI - 30MPG - Megasquirt Tuned

no i can hit WOT at anytime i chose
and the goal is to with the butterfly valve open create short spool delay period easiest shortest exhaust possible and high boost without having to get rid of the catalytic converter and stock exhaust in order to pass emissions and keep cops off my ass with butterfly valve closed it will hurt performance and running low boost be streetable flow through a stock exhaust and keep emissions and cops happy |

QUOTE(playr158 @ May 15, 2005 - 2:28 PM) (removed images) we did this pretty well in my opinion we ran the pipes so that the flow is 99% even to both sides ( i actually think driver side has more flow goin to it just by a tiny bit but you really can't tell cause the "cold air cloud" comes out even) and without a resonator its actually not that loud its quieter then my single was but i will be installing a res. next saturday thought i'd just drop in a few pics. and its 2" piping and torque increased a noticable amount (oh and jdm tails are coming soon too its actually rear end project week so the back looks kinda crappy Okey, not a fan of dual exhaust but DAMN. That looks nice. Almost as I want one myself. How much did you pay for those two mufflers? And where? They kinda look like the HKS muffler, but probably not, according to your profile. I would have to agree on the piping though. But those mufflers looked sweet with that end (I'm waiting for my Authentic Veilside CI to get delivered atm). I'm gonna have to ask if my shop can do a custom mandrel bent piping and fit two mufflers like that. -------------------- |
