I have a black celi, so I am at odds as to what color to accent my interior with. The last car I had was red, so it was easy to decide to accent red. I have no idea what color to go with.

I love the whole black/silver thing. I think silver would definitely look best.

How about a combination of silver and blue? Anyone done this or know anyone who has 2 toned interior?

Yea actually i have 2 tone interior in my car. The colors sound strange because my car is blue and the interior pieces are green and the vents are silver but for some reason i like it and im prolly gonna do the calipers to match. Theres a picture of my center console in my profile.

i said silver...black/red is slightly overplayed but silver/black is very slick and clean looking. I also have red exterior and decided to do red/red...there really arent many other options

Sand your console, then paint it with exterior paint and a clear finish. I think what I am going to do is buy all the interior trim (minus power windows) and sand it. Then I am going to buy the spray can that sprays out in a flat line. Then once that drys and sets a bit I will take a can just like it in clearcoat. I figure that will give me the results I want.

I think that red would look good with it. It is a dark silver, which is a hot color. I find silver like black and white; any color can go with it. It is all up to what you like. Ask yourself, "what my favorite color?" and if that doesnt solidify your answer, then make a poll... thats what I did.

To paint your dash what is the best way to do it? Do I need to remove the entire dash? I have had all the accents painted for about 5 years now and its about time for a refresh. So I want to take the next step as I am also redoing the rest of the interior.

I wouldnt take it out. That would be a waist of time. tape plastic to your window and over your vents and be very careful. You can take off the lower dash stuff and paint all that outside the car, but taking out the entire dash would be lots of time.

I just painted my interior a few days ago. I used 2 cans of Krylon Spray paint, and a can of Krylon satin clear coat, all from wal-mart. To prep the trim, I rubbed it all down with liquid sandpaper, that I also bought from wal-mart. I too wanted a professional look so I took my time and did 4 coats of paint with 10-15 minutes in between to dry. Then I used 3 coats of clear coat to finish it up. It COMPLETELY changed the look of the interior and it's one of the cheapest, best looking mods you can do to your interior! I have the black/silver seats so the black and silver trim goes really nice with it. I'll get a pic for you sometime today.
