the local toyota parts guy kinda messed up and gave me this number 1.800.622.2033.

Its the US toyota Material distibution Center.

What that means is that 150 dollar repair manual that you have to order from the toyota dealer that takes 6-8 wks to deliver now only costs about 30-40 dollars and can be shipped via UPS to you in 3 days.. biggrin.gif biggrin.gif biggrin.gif

Diffently hang on to this Number if you EVER plan to do an engine swap

edit: Unfortantly you can't order parts from this number.. tried. and there is NO parts distrbution number

I must be missing something. How does a $150 repair manual only cost $40? If I call to place an order, do they think I'm a dealer, is that it? I find it hard to believe that anybody with that number can get those manuals shipped to their house for that price. Has anyone ordered anything yet?

The reason you are saving so much is that your going directly to the sorce. not through a local dealer.

I ordered 2 manuals for a 5th gen about a month or so ago. The where 88 dollars to have them UPSed to my apartment.

I got the manuals on PDF also. It'll cost enough money for a motor swap, or you can just say please.

I think a small donation to the club funds would be fine.. I tried to email them to BoostedK2 last night but the email wouldn't send - hate outlook.. I'll have to move the file onto my laptop and post it using Domino when I'm back at home next (currently in Wales and then over to Dublin tomorrow !).. ( so it'll be done Sunday)

I know this is topic resurection but I just ordered a manual from them. I ended up getting a 93 manual for a TRUCK! I was pissed... Anyways I called them back and they totally helped me out, no hurdels to jump or anything. They are even sending out the Alltrac manual Overnight Air, with no additional charge.
