Ok guys..im starting leaking oil by the "sensor-like" pictured in the picture (sorry the red arrow isnt large)...can you guys tell me what part is that (part code if you can). The leaking is between that black part and the engine. Can you also tell me if that is expensive to repair. TIA

its a cheap thing to fix. that kind of looks like your oil pressure sender. unscrew it out and see if there is some type of a gasket there, or if the sensor is just starting to come loose.

thats your oil pressure sender, just unscrew it, and wrap thread tape around it (2 times) and reinstall. wink.gif

the part that is leaking is this one (but this is from a ST engine)

the leak is where the arrow points (between the two different materials)...i was wrong in the first post because it isnt between the black plastic cover and the sensor

is that the oil pressure sender?

yea, its the pressure sender, if its leaking from in between the plastic and metal, i dont think you'll be able to fix it.
thread tape you can get at any hardware store, its a special kind of tape you use on the threads to seal them from leaking. wink.gif
