5 finger discount I guess... most junkyards have a policy where if you can fit it in your pocket then it's free, that way they don't have to deal with the whole "shoplifting" issue.

Around here, they don't let you go into the junkyards. They have to get everything for you.

Which SUCKS.

A lot of the yards in my area also won't let you go pull parts yourself. I'm currently looking for a decent salvage place that actually has 6th Gens at all. Went out to one last week, the closest I got was a couple of 5th Gens, none with rear disc brakes, or anything else I could see to benefit me.

Tons of 2-5th gens here, I wish there was some more 6th gen's besides mine, mine has been stripped clean by now....

It would suck not to be able to pull your own parts, sometimes I need the smallest thing, and if they pull for you they really dont care.

Try using car-part.com

It links the parts inventories of junkyards across Canada and the U.S., with province/state and major city specific searches.

car-part.com sucks. I've gone through and emailed like 40 places in one night, and didn't get one good reply.

You have to go across the lake. I'll let you know after I hit a junk yard w/ my friend next week.

nix99.com

They helped me a LOOOOOT! Mike was on awesome guy to work with. Tell him Ryan, the guy that bought all the Celica transmission parts sent you! Good luck, they have an ST and a GT, and can get pretty obscure parts. Give em a call!
