the seatbelt light on the bottom left corner of the gauge cluster remains on at all times and has been doing this ever since i have driven. i have a piece of velcro over it so it blocks the light but still want to know how i can make it disappear. i dont want to just unplug it, i want to fix the problem., maybe its a wiring prob?

I can take a look at my wiring tomorrow and see if I can help you out, since the inside of my car is all torn apart anyway.

coomer: what is your interior torn up for?

I'm re-installing my alarm and remote start and adding some new features to it. Also, my power window module and LED lights will be here soon, and those are going to be hooked up as well. smile.gif

Yesterday I soldered every connection and re-ran the wires to a harder to access location and then hooked everything up for testing, but my neighbors who are about two blocks away called and complained that they couldn't get to sleep with my alarm beeping and stuff, so my mom made me come inside. Tonight I plan to finish up the install though and install some of the new features I have planned.

I have my windows hooked up to my alarm, so when i hit the alarm, the doors lock and my windows go up. Very nice feature, and really cool.

I'm excited to have it in mine. I'm also going to setup my alarm so that I can use an auxilary channel to roll the windows down. smile.gif

Did you install your alarm yourself, Supersprynt?

all u have too do is find the connecter under the seat disconnect it put a paper clip or something like that in it and tape it up real good. make sure u put it in the one that go's thruogh the carpet and not the one that go's to the seat belt latch.

I'll take a look for you when I get off work and go home today. Did you check your harnesses under your driver's seat to ensure that they're plugged in and tight and everything?

well, i obviously didnt look hard enough bc after looking where the latch is for the belt, i saw that a cut wire was hanging around. so i took out my seat, and one of the 2 wires were cut, so i fixed the wire, reassembled and now the light is gone when i put seatbelt on smile.gif
