How many of you have actually done the high beam intake? How did it effect your performance? And how did you (provided you did) keep the high beams active? I plan on doing this with my next pay check I just wanted to know what all I should expect.

i did it but only for drsg racing and without airfilter just a pig hose.... yes i did notice diference in the performance mostly in the hight revs... don't expect miricles like 10 hp.... do a C.A.I i thing it's better and more doable!

my friend and i were thinking about doing the intake / high beam.. he figured i'd get some kinda headlights that were both high and lows... so that one of the inner lights could be removed for the intake and the other could be dummied out.

i dont think it is required to have high beams. older cars dont have em. I'm leaving them out of my rebuild and doing the headlight intake for it. i also think that that would be the best for intake, better than a basic cold air method used because its the coldest you can get being in the front. It also will have air pushing into it while your driving and have a natural pressure. Anything cooler, and youd be using an intercooler.

I contemplated doing it myself but then I thought I value having my high beams a lot more than I do having an extra 2 horsepower than what my CAI brings. (I do a lot of backroad/small highway driving). Unless I had some additional bright driving lights or something I think I would leave it the way it is
