Mine is also in the body shop, I'll give a before and after pic when she's done. for now I'm just putting on 404 skirts and front lip, along with some laser fenders. I'm going from stock red to a nice blue. Next plans are for some jdm tails.

I bought them from bulletproofautomotive.com. They are about $225 for the pair IIRC. The wait was long but these are VERY nice units. They are designed to reduce body flex. I don't know if they will help. To be honest, the car doesn't flex much the way it is. DGPerformance makes some knock-off units and he claims that they helped alot.

About the braces... If you've ever jacked the front of your car up then rested it on jackstands on both sides you'll notice the amount of flex when the jack is lowered. It's quite extreme and I've noticed it on both my 97 and 94 hatches. Anything that stiffens the chasis will have some effect on handling. I'd suspect that these braces in conjunction with a good strut tower bar would be a great addition to any Celica.

I think Bigfoot is blurry, that's the problem. It's not the photographer's fault. Bigfoot is blurry. And that's extra scary to me, because there's a large, out-of-focus monster roaming the countryside.
