Update: all body work is done and all is installed except putting on the front bumper. New exhaust is complete and installed. Turbo kit is bolted on. Besides putting on the bumper, the only thing left is fabrication of the downpipe. No more progress pictures yet. The bad news is that I won't get her back tomorrow and because we are going out of town for the holiday, I will pick her up next Sunday.....the wait continues.

i know your trying to do the right thing for your motor, but this is one of those times where you should just trust the guys who have had their swaps for a while and have done a ton of research into this.

Its a street car and low end torque is important for deriving the benefits of power (at least for the way I drive). Also, the GT28RS will max out the usefulness of the AFM. Any larger turbo would require a standalone to derive the additional benefit which, although I am considering, I hope I can do without.

If you are asking why I chose it over other similar sized turbos, the fact of the matter is that I believe it to be the best option available for <320whp.

Minor update:

I pick up the car tomorrow. I talked with my mechanic today and he told me that the new turbo has made 1st gear useless at WOT due to traction and the speed at which the car hits redline. Good problems to have I would say....

I see some wide sticky tires in my future....
