Hey if i cut out the spare tire holder and sheet metal over it and maybe add some steel bars, will it buckle the cars chasis? is it bad for the car? is it a major support for the car??

i'm sure if you brace accordingly before you cut the car would not buckel.
but i would say modifying a unibody frame is not a good idea. |

i took out my spair tire and carpet and left every thing bare metal for less weight, and i was thinkin about cutting it out, but its not too good of an idea on a unibody.

i knew a guy with a probe that cut out his spare tire well.
welded in some braces and then welded in some sheetmetal. as far as i know he hasn't had any problems. -------------------- Jared Harwell
