after i installed my shocks and springs, i begun hearing strange noises when i turn the wheels. it's a creaking noise and a clunk clunk kinda thing when I turn. and the brake seem to have a strong impact noise whenever i step on the brakes. anyone experience anything similiar?

doesnt sound like a good install job. did you grease the strut bearings? cv joint cant be bad after that already. sounded like your caliper is loose too.

On your strut mount plate, if you pull it off, you will see on the bottom of it a shape of like a circle that looks like its been cut on two sides. Basically I call this a groove or a key, and this holds your strut. If you turn your strut mount plate, the stem of your shock will move with it and thats what it does but if the groove is worn (Usually wear and tear or after a bad install) it has a hard time gripping it and it clunks. You'd have to pull out your whole strut to know what I am talking about. If you are making that clunk noise it was a bad install. However, Its likely it is worn already from all those times it clunked.
