 Odd sound, help |

So last night I was driving down the highway and I started hearing this really odd clicking noise. Anyways I take the exit and when I come to the stop sign the engine just shuts off. I tried restarting it and it fired right up. Anyways It made this really high pitched noise like when you step on a small dog or something. I limped it over to the gas station (just right across the street) And I twas still making this really odd clicking. My freind told me it was coming from around the timing belt area. And the clicking was the injector (s). Anyways, Just thought I would see what anyone else thinks.

This might be the same sound I had in my engine when my timing belt was hooked wrong.. After I got it back where it should be, the sound wasn't there anymore. I can't give a better description though, because I wasn't the one to fix it on my car. Sorry!
