i have no clue, haha. looks more like 45.

heres a video of me opening and closing it. how exciting...... rolleyes.gif lol

http://www.putfile.com/media.php?n=Picture-17197
oh and it doesnt really sound that loud when closing the door, i dunno why it does in the video confused.gif

i got pulled over for tinted windows so i took the drivers side off when i got it checked to see if i could pass that way. lazy cop at the court didnt want to come out so he just checked the parking surveillance monitor and saw how i didnt have tint (luckily it was on that side) so i passed.

and if ur wondering why my left door is still black and not silver.....i ran out of paint. tongue.gif i just bought more today and need to finish it up.

Who are you talking to about the tint, because all my windows are tinted. Nice video mine was pretty close to the same thing, but don't you hate the squeaky noise once the door hits the top.

it looks like its pretty simple to install, just the hardest part is taking off the fender. Oh ya, I've been doing my research and what does it mean by "roll the fender" to get the doors to open properly? Im not 2 keen on cutting or bending parts on my car, more than likely I will have it installed professionally, but I think it would be a fun task to take on. It cant be THAT hard right? Just time consuming....

if you look on the inside of you door at the fender you will see a little lip type thing

basically i've seen sumone cut that lip/tab at 1" increments and then fold them in

make sure you ask him how long it will take to make all of them and ship em out. Im hopin no longer than a month. Oh ya playr, make sure u ask if there is anyway they can make them 90 degree doors. I doubt they can/will but we can always hope right? Straight up is so much more sexier than 60 degrees, but I still like em both.

i want 60* anyway, 90* looks like the doors are just out of place, the 60* goes more with the lines of the car when the doors are up

sup fellas...heres the update youve been waiting for. I drove down today so the guy can see my car. We were talking for a lil while and i was telling him how i was thinking bout dropping my car off tomorrow. But that was completely pointless cause i was already down there, n i wasnt planning to use my car today or tomorrow. So i just left my car there today. He told me the kit will prolly take about a week to complete for my car, so my car is going to be over there this entire week. I'll prolly end up picking it up not this monday, but the following monday. He told me he will be calling me to tell me bout the progress he is making with the car, i will be calling him this week just as well.

and to those of you wondering what type of person is the guy thats going to be making the kit for us, (if anyone is wondering), he is a cool guy, real humble, and he is very skilled. He showed me his 5th gen, and the subaru he is working on, and he has done an awesome job on botht he cars. He is a real good guy to do business with.

I really dont know how long its going to take him to make all the other kits and to ship them out. He told me he is going to be keeping in touch with playr158, so maybe he might know how long its going to take to make and ship the kits.
i'll keep letting yall know about the progress being made as the days go by.
