So Ive got two major shows im looking to do this year - HIN and Global Import Car Show (I did GICS last summer)

I never look to place in these shows cuz they are arena and also a celica like mine will never outbeat a Supra, MR2 or new celica

Heres my to do list thus far (Please keep in mind im not going for a SHOW CAR if i was then id have a daily driver so i could keep the celica clean)

1. JDM Clear High Beams
2. Fix curbed rims
3. Paint hood and bumper
4. JDM Tails
5. New sub box enclosure (needs to be more flashy)
6. Rebuild 5sfe include a few extra mods to it (This is what will be done to the motor so please dont say why dont i get a 3sgte or something different than what i stated)
7. Repaint whole car ---- this is last on the list as it would take too much money to have it done quickly and too much time without my car if I let the artist do it on his own time so i could save money

The first 6 should be reasonable to have done by August. For sure the first 3 will and that will make me ready to show at these shows

Anything else someone can think of minor than I can do for these shows?

Thank You!

oh and if the car gets painted its most likely staying black but with pearl in it! Black is not really a show color since these shows are in arenas and lights are usually turned off but I only do 1-2 shows a year and im not looking to make a SHOW ONLY car so i will keep with a color that makes me happy :-)

You might want to consider modding the interior if you haven't done so already, maybe get rid of the generic green-ish lighting... Not much different but still a nice change.

Car wont be turned on so the lighting wont be seen!

The modding of the interior i wanna do is expensive - more money than ill have this summer

I want Sparco Milano Leather seats - close to 1,000 bucks a piece
and i want a screen but thats not the money i have in time for these shows either.

I dont like clear signals on a black car :-( I lik ethe orange!

Oh and my exhaust is perfectly fine...its custom made by one of the best fabricators on the west coast (keyword is ONE OF) and in my opinion having custom is better than one bought of ebay or something.

Are you going to show at HIN this summer? Its coming up real fast, 7/30 i think. If thats the case, i think the first 5 and some of 6 could be done by then.

You dont need a big brake kit, but maybe some slotted/drilled rotors.

Well looks like my header is being worked on - slowly but surely cuz were not paying a dime for it! So my dad said he will just put it on my 5sfe now and then transfer it when we rebuild another 5sfe.

Yay! :-)

no one really needs them unless you have 700-1000 horse or are autox etc but do you see many 6gen with them probably a few extra points at shows

What are you thinking for the sub enclosure? Something made out of fiberglass that's crazy and curvy that's painted black? Does your dad know how to work with fiberglass?

Ha. You're funny.

If you're willing to get dirty and help we could build a sweet fiberglass enclosure, but it's a ton of work.
