I actually cleaned off the drums. They are just rust covered but no more flaky rust. I have to buy some of that black high temp spray paint that way they don't stand out. what do you think? |

That's a good idea. I think I'm gonna do the same thing sometime soon. I'd paint mine yellow, but I generally don't like it when drums are painted so that they stand out, so I think black would be good. -------------------- New Toyota project coming soon...

sorry brian..not me man..i didnt install mine..i had a local shop do it...he put everything in (shocks/struts, mounts &springs) for $150

Yeah, that price is insanely high. I had my coilovers installed by a shop for $100 after we tried to do it but couldn't figure out how to get the sleeve over the collar. I did install my springs and struts though. If you're up for it, just do it yourself. It's really not very hard at all, and John wrote up an excellent how-to about the installation. -------------------- New Toyota project coming soon...
