i think alot of you guys are forgetting that this is a message board where people need to talk MORE not LESS...why because its fun to talk about 6 generation celicas and share opinions...some people may say stupid stuff, others may be MIT trained engine guru's but in the end this is supposed to be a friendly messege board where people should respect each other...i hate when new people come in and the first thing u say is SEARCH cuz half the damn time the search thing doesnt work, afterall this is a place for guidence and help...there are a limited amount of 6th gens and 6th gen drivers and this is the only community of them...

Hey man, these guys have a point though. Kwanza and Lagos are both long standing and respected members. Kwanza gets nasty sometimes, but it's usually for a good reason. The only thing I have to say to them is sometimes people like to ask questions to make sure when they "do more," they're doing it right.

I'd like to cut down on the chat please, and continue with the relivent information, unless it's all here. I think it's getting close after Lagos's Power Primer post.

EDIT: Only thing I'm wondering still is were to get parts and what places are good for clips. I think we've got the performance/reliable thing covered.

i got my clip from ebay.

my clip buying advice:

check their ebay feedback feedback if buying from ebay

ask for compression test results and maybe a video or pics from the test

sometimes you can even get a video of the clip running, etc.

make sure your seller offers some type of warrenty

use a credit card when you buy the clip so that if any problem comes up you can dispute the charges

get the shipping quote in writing because trucking co (roadway) like to change the price on you when the clip shows up at your door.

i think i contacted venus once and they tired to sell me a complete pile of junk and said it was "just fine"

i hear jarco is a great place and has vids of their clips before they were cut. only bad thing is that it takes a few weeks for them to get your clip

With jarco, it will take a few weeks if they dont have a clip in stock. Jarco is an excellent choice.
