Hey it got low mileage on it, and intrnals (dash board and stuff) don't look shagged so that could be a sweet motor

get it and worry about the install later, i'm sure some one will want to play with you wink.gif

You are looking at a big job if your going to do the conversion. It'll be well worth it though if you do do it. Personally, for the amount of work involved in doing this, i would hold out and go buy yourself a gt - four. Then again sounds like thats a prob for you guys over there - ahh aint it great living in Scotland !?

As i cant get your link to work, what car is the 3sgte lump in ?? Cos remember your gonna need damn near all of the front end bitz and ecu and loom if its in a celica !

Andy,
we're looking at the whole front end of an ST185 cut through the front seats........ the whole lot looks to be there from what i see........

it sounds like it's great to live anywhere but the US if you want a GT 4, there's now 6, 205 and 5, 185 in our little club over here in sunny Moscow smile.gif

Ok and this is going into a 6th gen or 202 celica auto ?? This is gonna be a big task. What gearbox are you gonna use MR2 etc ? Also your wiring loom is alot different ecu etc.

Not trying to turn you off doing it, as it'll be wicked when you convert it. But personally i'd re-incarnate the dead 185 and charge around in that. With the 2wd conversion it's hard going what with torque steer, and trying not to spin the front wheels ! Reports of other ones confirm this, it's a hard going drive.....

Popstar - Good to hear the 205's & 185's are over there in Moscow too. I saw a 185 in Amsterdam the other week there, when me and my girlfriend were there. Surprised to see one, but nice none the less.

Jarco is an excellent company. They always pick great engines.

I know that clip has a very small rad leak, but you dont use the rad in a swap so it cool.
