My windshield has many many scratches, I think they are from winshield wipers and the scatches are only on a part of the windshield where wipers go. If I look through the corners there are no scratches. Two of my friends had the same problem, one of them has a CRX other one had a Camry. So my question is, Is there any way to fix that without buying a new windshield?
Thanks

Chrome polish should do the trick -- as I've had it explained to me, chrome and automotive glass have near identical hardness.

I would suggest trying this in the corner of the windshield first.

Alternately, there are glass polishes but it's more a really good clean than an actual abrasive, which is what is required to remove scratches.

Any windshleid repair shop should be able to fix scratches on the windshield, not the side windows though.
