My weekly ritual on thursdays now is visting my car in the paint shop. Its coming along pretty well. It still looks all tore up but at leased it has some black in there now smile.gif (Previous Topics 1 and 2)

By next week it should look more like a car again. The bumper, fenders, top of engine bay, and lips were finishing up paint and will go on the car by next week.
Then the hard part of putting everything back together comes....yay

The rims are still on order from Volks too. They should be here in another month or so. smile.gif

Thanks guy smile.gif

I cant to see it next week when it looks more like a actual car. Im hoping everything will be done within the next 2 weeks or so. Then comes the crappy part of having to put the system back in the trunk.

Trust me man....i CANNOT wait for that part!

Once the paint is done and rims come in, its time to start saving for the turbo kit. The HKS one i found was a good 5K. So i guess its safe to say i wont be going anywhere for while tongue.gif

why would u boost ur n/a engine? Part of the joy of having a supra, is the internals that support 800whp.

why not, 2jz can hold just as much as the t motor. look at the turbo kits for the NA and they can produce up to 650+ with a single turbo.

Yeap, thats right....the main reason i bought a NA instead of turbo was the insurance cost. I would be paying almost 300/month more just cause the insurance company knows i have turbo. But if i were to get NA then turbo it (which i would end up doing even if i had stock TT) might as well save the cash of the insurance as well as the extra 7G's i would have had to pay for a TT. smile.gif
