I want to power-up a lil bit my car but I have an auto tranny (yes i know...get a 5-speed..) but Im at university (=save your $) so I cant afford to convert to 5speed+swap/turbo So, im looking to maybe just add turbo my auto 5sfe. Do you think that it would give me more power than just swapping to 5-speed? and if I keep auto...what would be the best turbo to choose and at what PSI (no risk of damaging the enigne)? how much HP the engine/auto tranny can handle? Also, a cost estimate with all parts for an effective turbo (ex: FMIC, etc) would be appreciated

you might want to go to celicatech.com and find a guy there named TODD . he is the only one i know with an automatic turbo 5s.
your are looking at about 1-2grand give or take .....its one of those things you cant cheap out on, you have to pay to play. -------------------- 15PSI - 30MPG - Megasquirt Tuned

Im now convinced that its a better idea to convet to 5-speed first then saving for engine swap because the 5sfe-turboing is more $$ and hassle than I though
anyway...I have 1 more question....is it a good idea to swap my tranny to a mr2-t one (since I must change my tranny anyway) on my 5sfe then saving for a 3rd gen 3sgte? or those tranny are no no with 5sfe and keeping with stock GT tranny?
