PICS IN MY PROFILE.. they are from last summer, so the car is entirely repainted other then that, only difference is I took off the dumb looking stickers on the side skirts. Ill have more pics by tuesday with it lowered. Thanks!

hey guys. Im located in the portland/metro area in oregon and i am selling my 1996 toyota celica. Its a 25th anniversary and it's a clean car. It's alpine silver and has 17' Motegi Rims that match the color of the car. Most of the work on the car has been custom made, for example, the headers, exhaust and it's most noticeable custom job has been the custom intakes in the front of the car ( where the high beams are suppose to go) unfortunately, there are no high beams =) but it looks pretty cool with the two intakes coming out of the body. Sorry, i have no pics of the car yet, because i wanna lower the car before i take some pics and thatll be by ... monday or tuesday.

the asking price is $6,500 it has 131,XXX miles on the body, but the engine only has 46K miles - - downside of the car is that it is a totalled car and my dad and I have restored its entire front, thus the new engine

I've tried to sell the car around here but nobody seems to appreciate the fact that it's a pretty rare car because it's a 25th anniv. edition and so I figure it'd be best to sell to people who know celicas as well as I do.

My dad and have tried to switch the transmission of the car for the past years because it is automatic, but it is hard to find parts for this particular celica so we haven't had the chance to.

so your asking $6500 for a rebuilt/totaled crappy dual intake(with filters that actually restric the airflow) and has motegis?..good luck man. I paid $4200 for my celi, never in an accident, never abused, from the orignal owner with 124xxxKM on it...aka like not even 100xxxmiles. have fun trying to get rid of that man

i paid $6,500 for mine, but it had 51k original miles on it and was always garage kept. Original everything, and I knew the owner, so it was bs. But if your gonna part out your car I got dibs on the side skirts.

I paid $3500 for mine.. no problems at all w/ 150k.. infact she just had to clutch and belts replaced... just to make sure they were good... great lady

I got the car with 129,000 miles about 2 years ago.
so do the math, the car has been garaged and taken care of.

(before I bought it) - - I am the second owner.
the car was involved in an accident and ended up hitting a street sign so
the damage wasn't too bad,unfortunately the block of the engine had
issues afterwards which forced me to replace the whole thing.
I bought the engine from a JDM contributer and it had about 70,000Km
on it w/ a one year guarantee.

umm, what else..

kbb says approx. $4,720 and the rims and tires cost me $ 1,100 plus
some of the custom work thats been done to it. $6500 seemed like the
right cost to me, and I looked at prices of other celicas around the area
and they never seemed to go below 7500 dollars.

I might lower it but not at this instant because I want to start out high and work my way down and because by the time I sell it, I might have other projects done to it like
having it lowered, and a new steering wheel and having the wheels rotated and um, i wish I could find a transmission for it.

the only reason im selling it is because im going to the University of California San Diego next year and I need the money, I hate to see it go, but being on my own makes it harder to get some money.

well after a car has been ALOT of value has been lost, or in any accident for that matter becuase its no longer a toyota done job. Who knows who worked on it and what parts may or may not have problems. ANywho, good luck sellin your car, more power 2 ya.

Aftermarket parts don't necessarily make your car worth more. In fact, most of the guys here who have sold their swapped cars haven't even gotten half of what they're worth. You could get a 4AGE/3S-GTE swapped Celica for that much here, if you wait. It comes up. Its come up a couple times already. Good luck with your sale.
