Ok, i went and got my oil changed a couple days ago.
i just checked the oil today i am low.

while getting the oil changed the guy told me i had an oil leak somewhere. he said it might be the rear main seal.

what can i do to make sure thats what it is?
how much does this usually cost to get done?
How long can i go if it is the RMS?

rear main seal is a bitch to do . basically you want to look under the car and check for oil on the bottom of the tranny or anywhere else.

if you rear main seal is really leaking, then it means you tranny, clutch, flywheel have to come off and the seal is behind there. if u have to get it done, get a new clutch put in while you are at it so u dont have to pay that laybor two times

Actually the only thing that's a bitch to do is GETTING to the rear main seal. After that, it's a piece of cake to actually replace the thing. I'm going to do mine when I swap trannies. Lucky for me, I have access to a lift biggrin.gif
