i dont see how it wouldnt be possible. you would have a lot of customizing tho, and have to change the entire front end. ive thought of trying this also, good luck.

If someone does that with really big time and experience it might even look good. Player had few things that needs to be done better so it would look like it was supposed to be there. Anyway i wouldnt do it.

I would think if somebody wanted to do a supra front end conversion, the BEST way would be to get a real supra hood and bumper and fender, and work from there. All that would be needed is a grinder with a cutting disc and a mig welder..the worst outcome would be panels that a not perfectly aligned...way better than than playing around with bondo and molding everything.

Sounds very interesting....(got an idea) lol...

actaully starting with supra parts won't work the supra is MASSIVELY too wide for a celica to use + its much longer in the front it is not as simple as cut and weld from supra bits..i put my car next to my neighbor's and measured all the bits....its much easier to start from celica parts and cut away.....

but i got tired of the project decided not to do the finishing work to make it look 100% and took it all off....though i can say the supra headlights went to another 6gc member

yeah, someone correct me if i'm wrong... but the folding ones are JDM opnly and weren't offered in the 5th gens in the states.... They also require a different switch if you want them to be power folding. not a stupid mistake, just something a little less known. And if that is the biggest mistake you run into with your celi, you'll be alright tongue.gif

don't mean to jack the thread or anything, just wondering if playr had any pics of the curren conversion. well do ya? very interested in doing that in the distant future and wanted to see how the finished product looks.
also has any one done any custom headlights? not the projectors (too much money especially if you are going to pul them apart). how hard would it be to replace the lens with just a clear lens? let me know because i think that would look pretty sweet. thanks
