as some of you know, i've been looking for a 6gc for a few months now... haven't really had much luck...
went and test drove a '99 gsr last night... should i just forget about finding a celica, bite the dust and buy the '99 integra gsr for $11,500cdn? <100,000kms 2nd owner (he's owned it for a year) has all service records since he's owned it (also Oil Changes every 3,000KM, Mobil 1 Only) has engine immobilizer + 2 way pager alarm fully loaded. sun roof black on black leather (no rips) 17" Konig Helium Graphite Rims /w Toyo Proxes 4 Tires Clear Side Markers Short Shifter Iceman Intake Type-R Strut Tower Brace Type-R Exhaust Front Cross Drilled Rotors Nology Plug Wires 4 Snowtires + Steel Wheels 2-Way Paging Alarm Engine Immobolizer .... Plus more. cosmetically fine inside and out (even the power antenna still works) minor rust (as far as i could see) been in an accident (truck backed into it and damaged the hood/scratched the bumper. he got that hood replaced and repainted the bumper) although integras to occupy like 6/10 spots on the top cars stolen list in canada... friends are saying i should just take the integ and stop looking... celica looks nicer... integra is faster... not sure which to pick... wut do you all think? Dont know if it has the same engine as the Type R. Guess not. Type R has 192 BHP stock. If it has that go for the Integra.

Why is he selling it if he has only had it for a year? If I had a sweet integra I wouldn't sell it after one year unless something was completely trashed on it... like the engine..

A lot of people buy lil sporty cars and love them, but then get sick of them, because they dont make to much sence. there not to practical or anything. That and a LOT of people just get board really easy and quickly with cars. |

or you could buy an LS and put VTEC on it and beat any GSR, the LS vtec is faster than the gsr and i saw a video of them race before and after the ls vtec. I think the LS just has more displacement is all.

I think the LS just has more displacement is all. No. See, the LS/Vtec is hard to put a solid hp figuer on. Because it's a build, a lot of people will change out cams or do other head work while they're building it. Or get a header and vafc, ect. But a STANDARD ls/vtec, using all oem parts, will give you a few hp less then a gsr. So stock for stock, the ls/vtec swap isnt really worth it. Not to me anyways. But the ls/vtec give you a different direction then the gsr, like boost possibilities. -------------------- NASA/SCCA RX-7....currently under the knife
