QUOTE(Drocay @ Jun 18, 2005 - 6:44 PM) looks good, no way its 4 inches. It's not really a 4" drop from factory I don't think. I'm pretty sure they just have a range of 4", meaning if you jacked them up as high as they would go, the car would be higher than stock. |

in reply to all your questions:
the dragon stays. I always wanted it.. and I got it from my sponsor. I do have 4 inches drop as measured from top of wheel well to ground. used to be 29 on all corners and 28/3/4 on rear of vehicle. Now it is 24 on front and 23/3/4 on rear so it is technically more than 4 inches. It may not look like it is but with my tires the correct drop showed 4 inches. Also if I had 14's or 16's i would be scraping the ground. Also valo666 you are runnign on stock tires and can stick 2 finders in between(as you posted before) I can not stick anything, not even a pensil as all 4 of my tires are tucked under the fenders and rear quaterpanels. Difference in height is as follows: stock tires +4 inch drop: 185/60/r14 sits lower because the wheel diameter is less. Your wheel is about 22.7 inches in diameter, while mine is 26.0 we are talking about 1.6 inches of extra height for me. So my dropzone coilovers have to lower 4 based on the specifications I have. I have measured everything as I took pics. Also if you take a picture at 45 degree angle your car will look lower. Try doing same thing 5 inches off the ground, like I was. And btw vinil or no vinil... it is in the eye of the beholder. I contradict all your expectiations by having white rims, blackest tint, a hint of vinil and generally everything else different in one way or another. I love the way my car looks and I would never change a thing about it. -------------------- Captain Pessimist

Nice addition to the car.
Your car looks weird because the rear paint is glossy/shiny and the front just looks like black primer. Is that the case? If so, you should paint that thing ASAP. -Josh |

You are absolutely right. I actually had a paintjob before with my old bodykit... then after that got demolished due to me lending my car to mother while hers was in the tranny shop.. well anyways front half of my car is duplex spraypaint.. untill I finish entire bodykit. I am going to put sidescirts on.. just not sure which ones yet. Then my car will get another paintjob this time permanently

My gosh, that dragon looks ridiculous. Anyway, I have my Dropzones all the way down and they look higher than that suspension. So I am pretty sure it is 4" up and down, hehe.

Please do not turn this thread into hatered thread. If you have nothing nice to say about my dragon please refrain from saying anything about it. Some people consider splitters, jdms etc cool, some people like things that noone else on this site accuired. I am the only celi here with a dragon decal from none other but from my sponsor. Funny thing I have not received a negative comment about it in the last 5 months, only last 2 days when I posted my thread here. Everyone else seems to like it.

well to answer you we are not 'bashing your car' you posted pictures to see what we thought of your car. That opens the door to any positive or negative comments. Reasons behind people not likeing your vinyl are most likely because most of the people on this forum like a clean look. Thus the reason nobody has outlandish graphics cept for a select few. We arnt bashing your car just giving our imput, Im sure every car driver out there gives you comments and Im sure most of them have vinyls on their car. Scroll through our rides and very few vinyls will come up and theres your answer as to why not. -------------------- hows it taste motha f*cka

but still, I think people should leave out the negative comments. People put their time and money into their cars. It's THEIR car. If they like it, that's all that matters. negative comments are not helpful unless it's something like ways to make improvements, and that does not include, "I hate that, take it off. It's be better if you take it off" or something like that. If someone puts something on their car then they wanted it. It's their taste. However, if you have a negative comment like "you didn't do that right, it should be like this." then that is welcome negative feedback.
That's what I think besides it's the worst feeling ever when you spent so much money on something and then people tell you it looks like crap. This post has been edited by dahoman9: Jun 21, 2005 - 9:57 AM |

If you don't like it, turn off your monitor. You haven't received negative comments in the past 5 months probably because you are surrounded by ricers just like you, hehe.
