Just got my new racing harness on my car. Everything is cool except for the annoying seatbelt light. is there any way to kill it?

you could always take out the gauge panel and pull out the bulb.

I'm pretty sure how this works someone correct me if I'm wrong. When you click in the seatbelt, it activates a switch that turns off the light. Look for a wire coming out of the seatbelt connector, on the female side, where it bolts to the center console. Cut the wire and splice the ends together. That gives the instrument panel the illusion that the seatbelt is always connected.

Under the seat, a hole in the carpet will show a harness/connector like he said. You can either put a jumper (paper clip, etc) in, and tape over it for a removable option, or you can solder a jumper across the wires, or you could do as cutrara said and close the circuit permanently
-------------------- If anyone needs interior stuff, etc, I'm parting whats left of my celi out. Just ask.

i'm pretty sure the switch is on the seat belt retractor, i'll get you the color code for that wire so you can easily locate it and bypass it. I got the car in a million peices so i'll experiment with it
