Im having a slight issue with my subs, in that they are rattling the trunk door too much. Standing outside my car with bass pumping it sounds more like a giant rattle snake is pissed off under my trunk than subs, any suggestions for securing the trunk better? ST, not hatch, 97

also cheaper alternative is "brown bread", same stuff but cheaper.

other things you can do is fill the empty space in ur trunk lid with expanding foam, you should be able to find a guide on the net somewhere on how to do it. I did it in my corolla, makes quite a remarkable diffrence.

Sure it's your trunk and not your license plate holder? They are, after all, only held in by two screws at the top.

I found that if I hold the license plate bulb still then the rattling stops. I havent tried doing anything to fix it though. Press & hold onto your bulb in back...see if that makes a difference. I dunno?? Worth a try tongue.gif
