I found a 2 way lcd car alarm system with "Intelligent CAR Owner detection feature: (as you approach your car with your remote, in 3-20m, the alarm system will disarm and unlock your car automatically without press the button)".
Thing is, its starter feature is designed only for auto transmissions. here's the link: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAP...mMakeTrack=true Does anyone have any recommendations as to a car alarm that has the lcd 2way pager function AND manual tran. remote starter AND owner detetion? OR is there a way to rig a automatic tran starter to work with a manual tran? any suggestions? This post has been edited by king_wsk: Jun 12, 2005 - 5:20 AM |

You'll need to bypass the clutch safety switch, and not leave your car in gear - and trust the parking brake, there is no legal/generic manual remote starter that I'm aware of..

yea its cool, just waking up and you need to go somewhere hella fast push the button and your car is warmed up by the time you get out of the house.
it is doable, bypass the lower clutch switch by cutting the two wires and connecting them together. and yes MAKE SURE YOUR OUT OF GEAR. its funny to see a car pass by though without anybody in the front seat. just do it in a big ass parking lot wit no cars ahhaha This post has been edited by pnoywitmustrdsauce: Jun 22, 2005 - 1:27 AM |
