is this bad??

my "cold air intake" 95 GT model stock engine 2.2L.. it goes from where the pipe starts down between my cruise control and radiator tube, and the filter sits behidn the fan, doesnt hit anything though, everythings away from the filter.. but everything ive seen in pics is under the battery.. i dont kno if i can fit it?? i remember when i did my intake we looked for so many spots to put it and that was the easiest.. i dont have my car right now so i cant tell if it would fit. is this ok??

what do u mean by everthing? and are u asking if its actually sucking in cold air? If its still in the engine bay it may still be sucking in warm air so try to vent cold air to it some how.

I should probably read my how to on cai for gt's it costed me under 30 bucks

Well if your fan kicks on, then your intake is gonna steal the air. The fan is there to cool the engine, it wont work with out the air blowing on it.

VERY IMPORTANT: I did this same exact thing, i made my intake do this, except my went all the way to the plastic underneath, actaully was perfect because the position allowed it to suck in cold air, but not rain, due to the little box looking thing we have on our underplastic stuff. Anyways, i never noticed until i my clutch went, thats when i saw that my slave cylinder was hitting it. I recall you have an auto so it might not matter, but just double check it DEF does not hit anything

Behind your fan is also infront of your exhaust manifold, every hot. Just use Urbandork's how to. It's not to hard to find, it's everywere in these forums now.
