Toyota said in the early '00s that they will never produce another turbocharged car in order to protect the environment? Is that true? In japan they still sell the 3S-GTE powered Caldina GT-Four, so I don't think thats a truthful statement...

Even so- the 3S turbos are mad polution producers- thats why MR2 turbos after 92 were a no no in cali...

Well if we are that worried about pollution maybe we should stop making this big ole v8's that guzzle so much gas stateside. Comparatively a turbo is probably more efficient I'd think
